Arizona's Premier Triathlon Team
I got interested in triathlon after my first year of college when I realized I needed to bring some form of physical activity and competition back into my life.  Having a moderate background in swimming and running, triathlon seemed to be a great fit.  During the next four years of college I was a member of the Cal Poly Triathlon Club and competed in several Olympic and Sprint distances.  Upon graduating from college I took a year off while I transitioned into the work-a-day world and once again I found myself missing the physical activity and competition that had been a corner stone of my life.  I spent the next year competing in Xterra's and managed to qualify for the Xterra World Championships in Hawaii.  From here I transition into giving Ironman a shot and spent the first half of 2008 getting ready for Ironman Coeur d'Alene.  With my first Ironman behind me I'm excited about tackling my first Half at Soma this year then possibly reverting back to more Mountain Bike based races.
