Dick Landis and Dave Kuhlman started mountain biking in the early 80's when the sport was just beginning. Over the years, the Landis Cyclery shops have sponsored road teams, triathlon teams and some small mountain bike teams.

In 1997 Dick Landis approached a small group of racers to create a mountain bike team of riders who enjoy riding, training, and racing mountain bikes.

Team Landis was created to encourage each other's training and racing. All the riders are considered equal whether beginner, sport or experts. All pay the same for dues and clothes. All receive the same discount from the Landis shops.

Currently, our weekly rides are Tuesday (road ride) and Thursday (mountain bike ride) starting at 48th Street and Warner. For further information please contact Team Landis.
